Wed Noon Sprints - 12/7 Nichols Basin (new Course)

Posted on Tuesday, December 6th, 2022 at 5:59 pm by Jeff
Paddlers!!
We are on for Wed Noon Sprints.  New Course!  “Nichols Basin 4k”.  4 laps = 4k (2.5 miles) counter-clockwise  around the buoy course set by Larry and his rowboat.

Start & finsh is the NW buoy close to the entrance.   Strict start time based on atomic clock: 12:00pm.  There will also be an early start at 11:55am.

The water is very cold so dress properly for cold water immersion.  I'm hoping for sun and lighter winds.  Please get there early enough to get on the water and warmed up.  I suggest 11:30a.    This workout is a little more effort but doable for everyone who is prepared for the conditions.

This is still a "self-timed" event BUT we will keep the course top 3 times. If you want add you times into this google file: https://lh3.google.com/u/0/d/1CJTii3AWMzUzbxngayOAYJeRSussjYg1VN7uB5fGF4U=w543-h405-p-k-nu-iv98

If you need help send me your results and I'll update.
